Getting a move on

Health and fitness technology makes a huge difference to the way people engage in physical activity. Across age groups and income brackets those who track their physical activity have a much higher daily exercise time than those who do not use any such devices or apps. In particular during the pandemic, this effect is strong with people starting to use a new fitness device or app being twice as likely as others to increase their physical activity level.
