Morocco's "everyday heroes" restore coverage post-quake

(March 2024) When the catastrophic Marrakesh–Safi earthquake struck Morocco on September 8 2023, the first thing Huawei's Batahi Abdelati did was to ensure the safety of his family. The very next item on his list was to restore network coverage. Within minutes, he and his team were working with Huawei telco customers to restore what had been damaged and find workarounds for equipment that was out of commission. In the disaster zone, their rapid arrival proved a godsend for earthquake victims. This video recalls the sense of urgency and mission that members of Huawei's delivery team felt.
