A masterclass with top mathematicians in Paris

(Nov. 2024) For anyone with a passion for mathematics, Huawei is the place to be. Illustrating that point was a masterclass taught by some of the world's top mathematicians in Paris in September. The talented young mathematicians who attended got the chance to learn from two Fields medalists: Laurent Lafforgue and Alessio Figalli (there are no Nobel prizes in maths; the highest award is the Fields). Also leading the proceedings was Eric Moulines, a Member of the French Academy of Sciences.  

The program took place Sept. 16-17 at Huawei's Lagrange Mathematics and Computing Research Center in Paris. This video shows what it was like.
