ICPC Challenge powered by Huawei 2023 - Top international competition at Huawei HQ in China

The first in-person ICPC Challenge Championship Powered by Huawei took place in Dongguan August 21-25 2023. It brought together 59 top contestants from 25 countries.  

ICPC stands for International Collegiate Programming Competition. It is an annual multi-tiered competitive programming competition among the universities of the world. ICPC Challenge Championship Powered by Huawei comes from an idea that was first put forward in 2019 in Porto, Portugal during the ICPC World Finals. That year, Huawei issued for the first time an AI challenge topic. This got a lot of good feedback from coaches and participants. The 2019 challenge helped students to better understand how advanced algorithms and academic knowledge could be applied to industry problems. So, since then, we continued to issue challenges, and so far, Huawei has issued 10 challenges, including the one in this competition. 

Since 2012, Huawei began to sponsor regional ICPC contests in China. Since 2018, Huawei & ICPC started to work together internationally. Together we now cooperate on: multi-regional contests, ICPC World Finals, ICPC Alumni Event, ICPC & Huawei Training Camp and ICPC challenge.
