In Bangladesh for 25 years: Painting a picture

(Nov. 2023) A lot has happened in the 25 years that Huawei has been in Bangladesh. These five videos paint a picture. 

1. Connecting the Unconnected: Back in the early 2000s, mobile coverage was poor in the vast rural areas of Bangladesh where most of the population lived at the time. Huawei worked hard to fix that.  

2. 1,000 base stations per month: If this seems like a lot, it is. But Huawei Bangladesh is up to the task of setting up 1,000 wireless communications sites in a month. 

3. A crisis is another challenge: When it rains it pours. And in Bangladesh, it floods. It takes a partner like Huawei to maintain communications networks. 

4. A highway that needs to be smartly managed: The 250km Dhaka-Chattogram highway is a vital link in Bangladesh.  Huawei supplies technologies to ensure traffic runs smoothly.
