Finding and fixing system vulnerabilities

While more and more devices being connected to a network allows the world to run smarter, it also boosts the importance of cyber security. “The attacks will become a very common phenomenon in the coming world,” says Liu Yang, a professor at Nanyang Technology University, one of the world’s top-ranked universities for computer science. “Any single one of these critical vulnerabilities can lead to your system being hacked and controlled by the attacker.”

Scantist, a company Liu founded, develops technologies to find and fix IT and communications system vulnerabilities quicker. Huawei’s Spark program for startups helped Scantist improve its business plans and find new customers.
