Brazil 5G Truck - inside

The 5G Truck is our 5G technology demonstration center which allows people to experience the different practical applications related to Cloud, VR, AR or Artificial Intelligence technologies. Brazilian 5G truck travels to more than 15 Brazilian cities in 2022. Wherever it goes, it offers courses where participants can learn more about 5G equipment and how industries such as agriculture, logistics, manufacturing, education and others will benefit.

Huawei Italy’s SmartBus cybersecurity initiative, under the theme of ‘Cybersafe on Board,’ featured a 90-day road trip across Italy in 2023. It interacted with 4,500 children from 206 schools, as well as 600 adults.

Training 100,000 Ghanaian girls

Huawei, in partnership with the Communications Ministry and Education Ministry of Ghana launched a program in August 2022 to teach digital technologies to 100,000 high school girls. The program focuses on artificial intelligence, privacy protection, and cyber security so that students can use the internet safely. The program kicked off at St. Mary’s Vocational Institute and Tamale Girls Senior High in the country’s north.

Technicians above ground at the Yanqianshan Iron Mine of the Ansteel Mining Group in Liaoning, China. Using Wi-Fi 6, many operations taking place 300m below ground can be remotely controlled or monitored from above. Presence of Yucatan jaguars confirmed

With help of Huawei-supplied AI and Huawei Cloud, researchers and conservationists in Mexico confirmed in May 2023 the presence of at least five jaguars at a nature reserve in Dzilam, Yucatan, in the country's southeast. The ongoing project (as of May 2023) involves the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Polytechnic University of Yucatan, C Minds’ AI for Climate initiative, Rainforest Connection, the local community of Dzilam, and the government authorities of Yucatan.

In 2020, Huawei launched the "Agriculture of the Future" project with partners including Government of the State of Goiás, Municipality of Rio Verde, Ministry of Communications, Anatel, Claro, Universities and the media. A work team called "Agriculture of the Future" was created and a memorandum of understanding was signed that strengthened the business environment in the Rio Verde region. The agricultural project in Rio Verde, in the State of Goiás, brings together "5G + Cloud + AI" technologies, including drones, agricultural applications and autonomous vehicles.
