Miner remotely operating gear below ground
Using Wi-Fi 6, an operator above ground controls equipment 300 meters below at the Yanqianshan Iron Mine of the Ansteel Mining Group in Liaoning, China. The smart solution boosts operational productivity as well as the safety of miners who do not have to be exposed to dust, noise, and possible shaft collapses. Photo shot in 1H 2023.
