5G-oriented Terminal and Chipset Technology White Paper
Jul 2018
The white paper proposed for the first time that terminals must feature four receive ends (4R), support the 3GPP-defined TM9 LTE transmission mode, and low-latency to support 5G-oriented evolution. These three key capabilities can increase user experienced data rate, reduce latency, and greatly enhance network capacity to lay the foundation for supporting a diverse range of services in the 5G era.
