Cultural relics tell stories from days passed. The Mogao Grottoes were
an oasis of human civilization for thousands of years, but time is
battering these relics into oblivion. I needed to save these cultural tales
from extinction, so I turned to tech for an answer.

History’s forgotten scenes roared back to life when my team and I
brought tech to the caves. The forces of nature had done their part.
Now, we were using technology as a force to keep human
ingenuity alive.
The passion of discovery
Dancing deer, fairies and legends lit up the eyes and hearts of visitors
who entered the cave. A grotto that was fading into darkness had
energy and imagination seeping out of its walls once again. Our AR
Map truly revived the brilliance of the past for generations to come.
Lives that have been lived and values that have been past down can
just as easily be forgotten without documentation and preservation.
Tech like AR and 5G isn’t just about immersive entertainment. It’s
about honoring past lives, just like we would want ours to be honored.
