Quality is a central part of our strategy – and our path to success. In 2025, we achieved many breakthroughs in quality.
We gave full play to the quality leadership of our management at all levels to continually build up and reinforce our high-quality culture
- We continued setting stretch quality goals, strengthening quality backtracking, and providing positive and negative quality incentives.
- We implemented multiple quality initiatives to improve the quality leadership of managers and quality awareness of employees and foster a culture of quality among all employees. These initiatives included the implementation of quality policies, and quality conferences, audits, and training for employees. We also made quality an essential part of our employees' daily work and the pursuit of quality one of their work habits.
We continued to build up and roll out our ISO 9000-based total quality management system in order to sharpen our competitive edge
- We have built up significant experience and capabilities in quality management over the past 30-plus years, and keep iterating. This is achieved by embedding quality requirements into every process of our business domains and managing quality throughout entire product lifecycles, from research and product R&D to product manufacturing and services.
- We have also remained focused on quality by design for products and systems, strengthened the management of incoming and outgoing quality management, and improved service quality throughout entire product lifecycles.
- We have extended our quality requirements and management to our suppliers and partners (including channel partners) so that we can jointly deliver quality products and services to customers and earn customer loyalty and trust.
We advanced our system quality engineering methodology, and improved the capabilities of our quality organizations, to address real-world issues
- Our expert committee for quality engineering has been tasked with forming a quality team with solid expertise.
- We made full use of system quality engineering methods, such as the Huawei hardware innovation and optimization approach (HINA), theory of inventive problem solving (TRIZ), and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA), to help address the real-world challenges facing our businesses.
- We doubled down on efforts to manage knowledge and conduct project retrospection and bring everyone on board to deliver, reinforce, and improve product quality and user experience.
