Security Notice - Statement on Local Privilege Escalation Vulnerability "Dirty Frag" in Linux Kernel

Following the discovery of the local privilege escalation vulnerability "Dirty Frag" on Linux Kernel, described as a successor to Copy Fail (CVE-2026-31431), Huawei has launched an immediate investigation. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may allow attackers to escalate local privileges through page-cache corruption.
The investigation is still ongoing, and this security notice (SN) is released based on Huawei's current findings. Huawei PSIRT will update this SN as new information emerges.
