An attacker may exploit this vulnerability to make the phone not being able to use the function of call and message.

The attacker should set up a pseudo base station and be within radio range to vulnerable smart phone.
Vulnerability details:
There is a DoS vulnerability in the SMS module of some Huawei smart phones. An unauthenticated attacker may set up a pseudo base station, and send special malware text message to the phone, causing the mobile phone to fail to make calls and send and receive text messages.
The product that supports automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.
