There is a traffic hijacking vulnerability in Huawei routers. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can cause packets to be hijacked by attackers. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2021-21766)

This vulnerability can be exploited only when the following conditions are present:

Attackers can access devices within the LAN.

Vulnerability details:

There is a traffic hijacking vulnerability in Huawei routers due to improper ICMP packet processing. An attacker who can access the device on a LAN can construct malicious ICMP packets and send them to the victim to exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation of this vulnerability can lead to packet hijacking.
