Hosteur and Huawei: a partnership that provides AI for everyone

(June 2025) Hosteur, a French provider of Cloud and managed IT services, believes AI is for everyone.

To that end, the company developed AIFlow, an application designed to leverage artificial intelligence for specialized tasks, such as those in the healthcare industry.

“We worked with some partners in France on the directive of the French government to provide some tools for healthcare professionals,” says Hosteur’s Chief Technology Officer, Florent Gentric. “The idea is to get a platform capable of doing all these new AI things, and to build this from the technical part to the service part.”

“We think, and we hope, that tomorrow anybody can use AI,” Gentric says. “Tomorrow, everybody will be able to create new AI from an idea.” It’s a way to give tools to everybody, he says, not just people with advanced technical skills.

In an interview with Transform Talks, Gentric tells Executive Editor-in-Chief Gavin Allen that its 10-year partnership with Huawei has helped the company use AI for the benefit of its clients around the world.

“At first, we met Huawei in the most commercial way,” he says. “But very soon, we started a different relationship because Huawei wanted to talk with us and also to understand and listen to what we have to say. I guess it's why now, we work much more with Huawei: because of this listening to a small actor like us.”
