Small businesses need partners to help them communicate and grow

(Jan. 2024) Ninety percent of the world’s companies are small and mid-sized enterprises (SMEs). Individually small, they are nevertheless collectively crucial to the economy, providing roughly seven of out every 10 jobs. 

Julia Devos, head of the New Champions Community at the World Economic Forum, says SMEs deserve more attention, and more support – including via the WEF’s Strategic Intelligence online service. 

In an interview with Huawei Editor-in-Chief Gavin Allen, Devos says smaller companies need help interpreting regulations and accelerating business growth.
