Tech for a better planet

(April 2024) Huawei has long adhered to the principle of using tech for a better planet, and has taken actions in four directions: advancing energy conservation and emissions reduction, promoting renewable energy, contributing to a circular economy, and conserving nature with technology. Huawei actively responds to climate and environmental challenges. We have built PV plants in Dongguan, Hangzhou, Nanjing, and Xi'an campuses. Huawei Chengdu Research Center obtained the carbon neutrality certification from an international third-party organization in November 2023. In addition, the company integrates the concept of environmental protection into product design, enabling green development of the industry.
