Silicon Valley inventor says Generative AI “will change everything”
(Nov. 2023) If anyone can recognize a transformative technology, it’s Jerry Kaplan. He’s launched numerous start-ups, teaches AI at Stanford University – and wrote the book (literally) on Generative Artificial Intelligence.
In the latest edition of Transform Talks, Jerry tells Huawei Editor-in-Chief Gavin Allen that generative AI may turn out to be “the single most important invention in human history.”
“These systems will discover new drugs. They will help us to address major problems like climate change. They will provide advice of every conceivable nature. In the future, when you want the most objective, reliable, accurate information, you're not going to go to a human being. You're going to ask a machine.”
