ICT Academy Brazil: worldclass digital training and a chance to compete in global events

Contributing to professional and technological development in Brazil, Huawei has been organizing the ICT Academy educational program since 2013, having trained more than 550,000 professionals in 200 partner universities around the country. 

The ICT Academy is an online program, with more than 250 courses, such as Artificial Intelligence, cloud, 5G, datacom, and cybersecurity, supported by simulation tools and virtual laboratories. Participation is free of charge and linked to universities, which refer students to the program. “If we consider that 95% of the ICT market in Brazil goes through Huawei, we need to collaborate with Brazilian institutions in this digital transformation process. That is why we work to educate young people all over Brazil,” notes Victor Montenegro, manager of Ecosystem and Brazilian Talent at Huawei. 

As part of this program, six Brazilian teams have taken part in the ICT Competition Finals in Shenzhen in May 2023.
