Huawei showcases strategies for digitalization in Africa at AfricaCom

As the largest and most influential Africa-focused telecom tech event, AfricaCom kicked off on Tuesday in Cape Town, gathering nearly 400 exhibitors from the industry which offer innovative solutions to the continent’s most pressing challenges, more than 40 of them are Chinese enterprises.

China’s Huawei, revealed its key focus areas that would accelerate the proliferation of digital services in Africa. It is estimated that over ten thousand attendees may be engaged from across the entire digital ecosystem.

Digital transformation is the engine for Africa Telecom industry growth, and will empower the innovation of other industries as well. Huawei showcased a wide range of solutions such as Narrow Band Internet of Things (NB-IOT), Smart Home, Cloud,Video, Safe City, etc. These are designed to help African telecom carriers and enterprises transform their network into an agile and flexible one and to realize operational efficiency, accelerate business transformation in the digital era.
