With the competition from over-the-top (OTT) service providers, Communication Service Providers (CSP) are under pressure to provide better services in a quicker and cost effective manner. In recent years, many CSP have started their digital transformation program to transform themselves to become a Digital Service Providers (DSP) aiming to provide better service to their customers and capture new business opportunities. A key success factors achieving this is for a CSP to transform their service lifecycle management process. In this white paper, Huawei will propose the Service Crafting Center (SCC) architecture, the required competency of a SCC and how SCC can help CSP to develop new services efficiently in an agile manner, manage service assets design and creation, and support networks operation automation.
