There is a command injection vulnerability in Huawei terminal printer product. Successful exploitation could result in the highest privileges of the printer. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2022-51773)

This vulnerability can be exploited only when the following conditions are present:

Attackers can gain access to the affected target devices.

Vulnerability details:

A Huawei printer has a command injection vulnerability in certain scenarios. Attackers can remotely execute code by sending specially crafted packets to the target device to obtain the highest permission on the printer.



The product that supports automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.

This vulnerability was discovered by Huawei internal tester.
