Huawei and China Mobile Win GLOMO "Best AI-Powered Network Solution" Award for AN Achievement
[Barcelona, Spain, March 4, 2026] At MWC 2026, Huawei and China Mobile received the GSMA GLOMO Award for "Best AI-Powered Network Solution," in recognition of their AI+Network O&M transformation solution in autonomous networks (AN). This award highlights industry-leading practices in integrating AI with network infrastructure to deliver measurable business results. It marks the second consecutive GLOMO win for Huawei's Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) solution, following accolades for "Best Network Software Breakthrough" and "CTO's Choice" in 2025. This achievement underscores Huawei's leadership in network intelligence innovation while establishing a transformative standard for the future of AN.
Huawei and China Mobile honored with the GSMA GLOMO Award for "Best AI-Powered Network Solution"
As global carriers shift toward intelligent transformation, the industry is moving beyond technical metrics to prioritize return on investment (ROI). The AI+Network O&M transformation solution in AN, jointly developed by Huawei and China Mobile, tackles critical operational challenges in efficiency, growth, and cost. It establishes an end-to-end AI capability system: foundational LLMs, a MaaS platform, and agent-driven applications. By deploying AN Agents, this groundbreaking solution enables closed-loop capabilities across sensing, analysis, decision-making, and optimization. It revolutionizes network O&M by shifting from manual reliance to human-machine synergy and autonomous agent operations. Through the ADN solution, Huawei partners with China Mobile to advance AN L4, successfully unleashing both the technological and commercial value of AI. This solution also introduces the world's first carrier-grade A2A-T multi-agent communication protocol, enabling autonomous collaboration among cross-domain agents and elevating network autonomy from "single-point intelligence" to "collective intelligence."
This award-winning solution is currently in large-scale commercial use across three strategic domains: 5GtoC (Consumer), 5GtoV (Vehicle Connectivity), and 5GtoB (Industry), achieving remarkable results.
- The 5GtoC domain incorporates a multi-agent collaboration solution spanning wireless, transmission, and core networks, enabling automatic diagnosis of over 90% of alarms while slashing Mean Time To Repair (MTTR) by 25%.
- The 5GtoV landscape is being redefined by an end-to-end complaint handling solution tailored for over 23 million IoV users. Powered by a complaint handling agent, this solution has slashed the average resolution time from 4.32 hours to a mere 10 minutes, significantly improving service satisfaction for the automotive industry.
- In the 5GtoB domain, agents facilitate on-demand agile network deployment and enable minute-level fault self-healing, ensuring uninterrupted operations in autonomous mining and transportation and establishing a new paradigm for safe production.
"We are dedicated to charting a course for growth in the digital and intelligent age. AN represents the best practice of integrating AI with telecommunications infrastructure," stated China Mobile. "Next, we will accelerate the rollout of L4 technology across high-value scenarios, deepen the integration of intelligence and production workflows, deliver better customer experience, while enhancing our future-oriented competitiveness."
Huawei emphasized: "Our enduring collaboration with carrier partners remains steadfast, driven by a commitment to address customers' core needs. We will continue to invest in key technologies including communication foundation models, intelligent agents, and digital twins. By teaming up with global carriers and innovators, we aim to accelerate the transition to fully AN and drive shared success in the Agentic Era."
MWC Barcelona 2026 will be held from March 2 to March 5 in Barcelona, Spain. During the event, Huawei will showcase its latest products and solutions at stand 1H50 in Fira Gran Via Hall 1.
The era of agentic networks is now approaching fast, and the commercial adoption of 5G-A at scale is gaining speed. Huawei is actively working with carriers and partners around the world to unleash the full potential of 5G-A and pave the way for the evolution to 6G. We are also creating AI-Centric Network solutions to enable intelligent services, networks, and network elements (NEs), speeding up the large-scale deployment of level-4 autonomous networks (AN L4), and using AI to upgrade our core business. Together with other industry players, we will create leading value-driven networks and AI computing backbones for a fully intelligent future.
