Agentic Core: Building an Agentic Network with Device-Network-Service Synergy
[Barcelona, Spain, March 4, 2026] The Agentic Core Summit has just successfully concluded, centered on the strategic theme of "Building an Agentic Network with Device-Network-Service Synergy." At the summit, Huawei joined forces with GSMA, GSMA Intelligence, and a range of operators and industry organizations across the Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe, Latin America, and beyond, to explore AI-driven advancements for the core network. Together, they unanimously agreed that the 5G core network has entered a new phase of Agentic Core.
Huawei unveiled the AgenticCore solution, which integrates AI into mobile Internet, voice, O&M, and Telco Cloud infrastructure, empowering operators to smoothly evolve their networks and reshape their main service offerings. During the summit, Huawei teamed up with the operators and industry bodies to kick off the Agentic Core Action Initiative, a move set to fuel ongoing innovation across the sector.

Mobile Internet + AI: Accelerating the Transformation of Operational Models
AI empowers the core network with three transformative abilities: real-time experience awareness, global experience evaluation and resource coordination, and intelligent interaction and execution. This architecture gives rise to a "network brain" that drives a closed-loop experience monetization model. Within this model, experiences are definable and assessable, service offerings are marketable, quality is guaranteed, and exclusive user identities are perceptible. At the summit, GSMA partnered with Huawei and global leading operators to unveil GSMA Intelligent Packet Core Foundry White Paper 2.0, signaling a new era of large-scale synergy between AI technology and the industry ecosystem.
Voice + AI: Redefining Basic Voice Services
Through three dimensions of elevation—Pure Voice Calling for experience, Easy Voice Calling for services, and Interactive Calling for interaction—Huawei AI Calling is redefining voice value to seize the service entry. At the summit, GlobalData released a voice evolution white paper, highlighting that deep AI innovation across fully converged voice networks is essential to unlocking new value in voice services.
O&M + AI: Enabling Autonomous Network O&M
The intelligent O&M solution leverages AI to transform network O&M into an automated and intelligent ecosystem, driving the core network toward Autonomous Network (AN) L4 Phase 2. Phase 1 focuses on the intelligent assistant, NOEMate, which delivers automated closed-loop management for both faults and changes. Building on this, Phase 2 introduces hierarchical autonomy and builds an unmanned factory, achieving full single-domain autonomy within the core network.
Hyper-Converged Computing: Infrastructure for the Mobile AI Era
Telco Cloud is evolving into a standardized platform that supports AI inference and Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) orchestration, and runs generative AI workloads. This architectural shift from cloud-native to AI-native promotes intelligent network management. The summit highlighted the deep fusion of AI and cloud-native technologies, showcasing the promising prospects for AI-telecom integration.
Looking toward the 6G era, Huawei AgenticCore solution supports ubiquitous AI agent access, building an agent-based communication network that spans across devices and ecosystems. Huawei Cloud Core Network is committed to evolving communication infrastructure into a pivotal interchange for AI agent networks, accelerating the industry's stride toward device-network-service synergy.
MWC Barcelona 2026 will be held from March 2 to March 5 in Barcelona, Spain. During the event, Huawei will showcase its latest products and solutions at stand 1H50 in Fira Gran Via Hall 1.
The era of agentic networks is now approaching fast, and the commercial adoption of 5G-A at scale is gaining speed. Huawei is actively working with carriers and partners around the world to unleash the full potential of 5G-A and pave the way for the evolution to 6G. We are also creating AI-Centric Network solutions to enable intelligent services, networks, and network elements (NEs), speeding up the large-scale deployment of level-4 autonomous networks (AN L4), and using AI to upgrade our core business. Together with other industry players, we will create leading value-driven networks and AI computing backbones for a fully intelligent future.
