Huawei Upgrades Three Core ADN Capabilities to Accelerate Large-Scale Deployment of AN L4

[Barcelona, Spain, March 1, 2026] During MWC Barcelona 2026, Huawei will announce a comprehensive upgrade of its Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) solution. Centered around three core capabilities – increased scenario self-closure rate, single-domain network autonomy, and end-to-end experience assurance, the upgrade aims to further amplify business value and accelerate the large-scale commercialization of level-4 autonomous networks (AN L4).

Three core ADN capabilities accelerate AN L4 deployment

As AN L4 development enters a critical phase, addressing complex cross-scenario challenges, accelerating cross-layer and cross-domain system integration, and maximizing business outcomes have become key to scaling up.

In response, Huawei is going to enhance the ADN solution with three core capabilities:

  • Increasing scenario self-closure rate for greater business impact

By upgrading four core capabilities: fault and risk awareness on network elements, local operations, models, and AI agents, the solution enables autonomous awareness, analysis, decision making, and execution for scenarios. This increases the self-closure rate for fault management, network optimization, and complaint handling scenarios by over three times, significantly increasing business value.

  • End-to-end experience assurance that supports core business and drives operator revenue growth

Differentiated experience monetization has become a key driver for operator revenue growth. This is supported by different network capabilities, such as ubiquitous 10 Gbps, high availability, low latency, on-demand slicing, and embedded intelligence. At the same time, they can be deeply integrated with management capabilities for marketable, deliverable, guaranteed, and user-perceivable service assurance. ADN provides key support for operators seeking new revenue streams in B2C, B2B, and B2H markets.

  • Single-domain network autonomy for a leap in business value

Through synergy between the NE layer and network layer, Huawei has developed five single-domain network agents. These agents conduct unified planning and conflict coordination for multiple scenarios within a single domain, achieving the transition from scenario-specific automation to network autonomy, unlocking greater business value.

Furthermore, to enable efficient cross-layer, cross-domain collaboration for operators, Huawei and leading operators have jointly defined the A2A-T protocol. This redefines the cross-layer and cross-domain integration model, significantly shortening time-to-market (TTM) for new services.
