Huawei Wins the Catalyst Innovator: Visionary Award at Innovate Asia 2025
[Bangkok, Thailand, November 28, 2025] At the Innovate Asia 2025 Summit, Huawei was awarded the Catalyst Innovator: Visionary by TM Forum, a globally recognized authority in the telecommunications industry. Based on rigorous evaluation of both quantitative and qualitative criteria, the award recognizes organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the industry's advancement and created significant impact through Catalyst projects. This recognition underscores Huawei's leadership in driving technological innovation and shaping business practices within the telecommunications industry.
Huawei Wins the Catalyst Innovator: Visionary Award
Catalyst projects launched by the TM Forum bring together industry ecosystem partners including operators, vendors, and integrators, to validate proof-of-concept solutions. Through efficient collaboration, it develops and validates deployable telecom solutions and standards that raise efficiency, improve user experience, and drive sustainable growth. Today, the TM Forum's Autonomous Networks Catalyst project has become a key force in accelerating the industry's digital transformation, standards development, and sustainable development goals.
Among the 18 Catalyst projects showcased at this summit, Huawei participated in nine, spanning key areas such as Autonomous Networks (AN), AI, 5G monetization, customer experience enhancement, and digital twins. In support of the summit's theme , “Leading the Autonomous Networks Revolution,” and to accelerate large-scale commercial deployment of AN L4, Huawei collaborated with industry partners, including China Mobile, Telenor, and MTN, focusing on high-value scenarios in “maintenance, optimization, and operation.” Based on the TM Forum's three-layer architecture for Autonomous Networks, the collaborators successfully developed and validated five Autonomous Networks Catalyst projects, earning recognition from the TM Forum.
Ken Lu, President of Huawei's General Development Department, said: “The successful validation of the Autonomous Network Catalyst project marks a milestone in accelerating large-scale commercial deployment and intelligent network upgrades. Achieving Autonomous Network Level 4 is a long-term evolution process, which requires continuous industry focus on key tasks such as developing solution packages for high-value revenue growth scenarios, implementing A2A-T standards, and conducting Autonomous Network level assessments, so as to work together to achieve a closed loop of commercial value in the L4 stage.”
Looking ahead, Huawei will continue working closely with global industry partners to transform innovative concepts and solutions into telecom industry solutions and standards, aiming to build industry-leading Autonomous Driving Network (ADN) solutions and accelerate the continuous evolution toward high-level networks.
