Huawei Wins 5 Best of Show Awards at Interop Tokyo 2018
[Tokyo, Japan, June 15, 2018] Recently, Huawei won 5 Best of Show Awards including the Grand Prize in the cloud computing category for AI Fabric Ultra-High-Speed Ethernet at Interop Tokyo 2018, Japan’s largest ICT exhibition.

The Best of Show Awards receives around 300 entries from exhibitors every year. A panel of ICT industry experts reviewed these entries and selected the best products and solutions for the Grand Prize, Runners-Up, and Special Prizes.

Huawei's R&D spending totaled CNY89.7 billion in 2017, accounting for 14.9% of the company's total revenue. In recent years, Huawei has concentrated on building out the next generation of digital infrastructure by driving innovation in cloud, artificial intelligence, and 5G technologies. It continues to funnel 10%-15% of its annual revenue back into R&D each year.
