The Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council and the Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in Shanghai's Convention and Exhibition Industry require that:

  1. Participants must register with their real name and ID.

  2. Participants must present their ID to enter the venue, and facial recognition will be used to confirm their identity. They must carry their ID with them throughout the event.

  3. Participants who have visited a medium- or high-risk area within 14 days prior to attendance will be denied entry.

  4. Participants must present a green travel pass issued through the State Council mini program to enter the venue. Please add the mini program ("国务院客户端") on WeChat or Alipay before attending the event.

  5. Participants must wear a mask, present a green health code (Sui Shen Ma), and take a temperature check when entering the venue. Participants whose temperature exceeds 37.2 ℃ will be denied entry.

  6. Participants who violate any national or local pandemic control regulations will bear all legal responsibilities and related losses.

Chinese-English simultaneous interpretation will be provided for keynote speeches. You will find the interpretation service headset at your seat.

Q: What types of passes are available for HUAWEI CONNECT 2020?

A: All passes are single-day passes. Early-bird prices are available up to and including Aug 31. You can visit the pass purchase website for more details: https://app.events.huawei.com/ticketMinisite/index. Passes are available for sale up to Sep 26, but they may sell out earlier. You are advised to buy a pass as early as possible.

Q: Why do I need to register on the official website and provide my ID or passport number?

A: According to requirements of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council and the Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in Shanghai's Convention and Exhibition Industry, all attendees must register with a valid ID. Please register with a valid ID and make sure to enter it correctly. You will need to present your ID to enter the venue, and facial checks will be performed to confirm you are the owner of the ID. You may be unable to enter the venue if you do not own the ID you present or if it does not match the one you registered with.

Q: How can I buy a pass if I am not from the mainland of China?

Q: Can I cancel my pass order? Do I need to pay a cancellation fee?

A: If you cancel your order before midnight (24:00 Beijing Time) on Aug 31, 2020, Huawei will refund the full payment. If you cancel your order after midnight (24:00 Beijing Time) on Aug 31, 2020, a handling fee (15% of the purchase price) will be deducted, and the remainder will be refunded. If you do not cancel your order before midnight (24:00 Beijing Time) on Sep 12, Huawei will not provide a refund, regardless of your reason for cancellation. You will need to send an order cancellation request to huaweiconnect_inquiry@huawei.com, and provide a screenshot of your bank account payment, the email address you used to buy the pass, and the detailed information of the pass you wish to cancel. A: According to requirements of the Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism of the State Council and the Guidelines for the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 in Shanghai's Convention and Exhibition Industry, you must provide an accurate valid ID number (ID card, passport, Mainland Travel Permit for Hong Kong and Macao Residents, or Mainland Travel Permit for Taiwan Residents) during registration according to laws and regulations and governmental requirements for pandemic control. A: Early-bird prices are discounted prices for passes to HUAWEI CONNECT 2020. You can enjoy an early-bird price if you buy a pass before Aug 31.

Q: Are there group discounts?

Q: What is the cut-off date for requesting an invoice?

Q: Is there a minimum age for attendees?

Q: Where can I pick up the gift included with my pass?

A: You will need to sign in to get your event badge, and then present your badge to pick up the souvenir/developer gift included with your pass. There will be signs to direct you to a designated zone to pick up your gift, which can only be collected onsite and cannot be mailed to you.

Q: If I bought a pass but am unable to attend the event, can I still receive my gift?

A: Sorry, you will not be able to receive the gift if you bought a pass but are unable to attend the event.
