Recently, the British authoritative brand value consulting company called “Brand Finance” released the "top 500 global brand value of 2019" report. Huawei's ranking has once again increased significantly with the brand value of 62.278 billion US dollars, increased from No. 25 in 2018 to current No. 12. Brand value also increased by 63.7% compared with last year, becoming one of the fastest growing brands.

As one of the world's most credible brands, in the list of Brand Finance this year, technology companies continue to be the biggest winners, occupying six seats in the top ten. Amazon wins the championship, followed by Apple and Google which ranked as second and third respectively.

The performance of the Chinese brand legion has become more and more outstanding, it has become not only the fastest growing country, but also the total brand value of all Chinese brands exceeded US$1 trillion for the first time to US$1.3074 trillion. The best performing industries include technology, banking, insurance and the real estate industry, in which the technology company represented by Huawei is the most eye-catching company.

In 2016, Huawei shortlisted in the Brand Finance Top 500 Global Value Brands for the first time and ranked as 47th. After that, with the outstanding performance in the global market, Huawei's brand influence and brand value have also increased day by day and in this year, its ranking also successfully jumped to no.12th place.

The reason behind rapid growth of brand value is Huawei's faster performance growth. Huawei's consumer business CEO Yu Chengdong recently said that: "in 2018, Huawei's consumer business sales revenue was expected to exceed 50 billion US dollars, and smartphone shipments exceed 206 million units. Among them, Huawei P20 series has more than 17 million global shipments. The shipment of Huawei Mate 20 series released in October last year exceeded 7.5 million units."

One of the most critical success tips for achieving such an outstanding results is the continuous innovation based on user needs and continuous improvement of user experience. The well-known analyst organization Canalys also commented about Huawei: "Huawei's increasingly strong brand influence and continuous positive technological innovation have enabled Huawei brands to more freely explore the high-end market, thus why it can greatly expand the distance from other brands.
