As the tides pull back from the shores of 2025, the traces we left behind us – some bold, some faint – stand testament to a year of relentless effort to press ahead.

Along the southern edge of the Sahara Desert, our network engineers navigated dust-choked streets in 44°C heat, identifying and resolving network issues.

In force-7 gales on the Atlantic, our optical network experts pushed through crippling seasickness, working alongside our customers to locate faults and restore communications.

4,300 meters up on a snow-clad plateau, deprived of oxygen but not of spirit, our service team braved –15°C temperatures to commission a PV and energy storage system, bringing green electricity to every home.

At 4:30 a.m. in a customer's equipment room, our service engineers seized a fleeting window of low traffic to bring a critical network solution online – the result of 30 days of intense work from our R&D team.

Working around the clock, our HarmonyOS ecosystem engineers went above and beyond to help partners adapt their apps for HarmonyOS, and refine user experience for services like food delivery, social media, and travel.

Our sign language engineers resolved communications issues caused by technical jargon during aftersales support, making our services more accessible to people with hearing impairments.

Our manufacturing craftsmen drew inspiration from a chick feeder to solve challenges with adaptive micro-screw fastening in smartphone production, bringing efficiency to new heights.

Our payment accountants carefully verified authorizations and document consistency, in strict compliance with process, to ensure zero losses for trillions of yuan in payments.

The list goes on and on.

Every bead of sweat and ounce of effort over the past year is worth celebrating!

We worked with carriers to deploy 5G-A networks, providing ultra-fast connectivity for 60 million users.

With the support of our ecosystem partners, we enhanced user experience for HarmonyOS, rapidly bringing the OS from usable to easy-to-use. HarmonyOS 5 and above have been installed on 36 million devices.

Working with automakers, we have brought next-level intelligence to over 1.4 million passenger vehicles with Huawei ADS and supported nearly 7 billion kilometers of assisted driving, making every journey safer.

Kunpeng has brought together more than 6,800 partners and 3.8 million developers. The total number of openEuler installations has exceeded 16 million. Ascend has attracted more than 3,000 partners and 4 million developers. Our Atlas 900 SuperPoD now provides massive computing power for key industries like the Internet, finance, telecommunications, and electric power. Together, we have built a solid foundation for computing.

We dove deep into different industries to explore the practical application of AI in areas like medical pathology, temperature prediction for steel furnaces, and oil & gas exploration, creating new value with our industry partners.

To date, we have worked with green energy customers to generate over two trillion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power and save more than 150 billion kWh of electricity, reducing emissions by 1.06 billion metric tons – the equivalent of planting 1.45 billion trees.

These are just some of our highlights from 2025. All around the world, we faced challenges with resilience, created value with expertise, and continue to inspire one another with passion for what we do.

AI technologies will integrate further with industry know-how, driving a shift from isolated efficiency gains to systematic value creation across core business operations. This shift is more than just technological advancement – it will reshape organizational structures, business processes, and corporate culture.

Time and tide wait for no one. A new journey in the age of intelligence has begun.

Moving forward, we will strengthen operations in vertical industries, leveraging the breadth of our complete portfolio to dive deep into industrial scenarios and drive intelligent transformation.

We will keep opening up Kunpeng and Ascend, building up ecosystems to help our partners develop products that meet the needs of different industries. We will work to make our SuperPoDs and SuperClusters more readily accessible to users, and develop a solid AI computing backbone.

We will work with carriers, industry partners, and other stakeholders to boost network traffic. We will also drive the convergence of AI and communications networks to advance intelligent connectivity.

With a consistent focus on user experience, we will keep growing the HarmonyOS ecosystem and expanding AI capabilities to surprise and delight consumers.

The Harmony Intelligent Mobility Alliance (HIMA) and Huawei ADS will help automakers scale out, delivering a safe and comfortable driving experience.

We will redefine AI data centers and maximize tokens per watt.

Our liquid-cooled, ultra-fast charging solutions will provide a quality charging experience for people on the go.

These will be our primary arenas in 2026.

As we translate our strategic direction into success on the field, we will no doubt come across all manner of obstacles. Facing challenges head-on is our only viable path forward.

Past success is not a beacon for the future. We firmly believe that, on this uncertain journey towards an intelligent world, only those who are bold enough to step up and self-reflect can reach their destination.

In 2026, we will maintain our strategic focus, going all out to secure high-value markets, succeed through quality, and strengthen organizational capabilities.
