Statement on Respecting and Protecting Others' Trade Secrets

Huawei believes that respecting and protecting Intellectual Property (IP) is the foundation of innovation. As an innovative company, Huawei respects, applies, and contributes to IP rules. Huawei upholds the core principles of protecting its own IP and trade secrets and respecting those of others in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.

Huawei has developed trade secret protection compliance policies and regulations and incorporated them into its business processes to guide its business departments in trade secret protection compliance. Huawei continuously improves its management system related to the protection of others' trade secrets. All Huawei staff are required to understand and meet the company's management requirements for respecting and protecting others' trade secrets, and are forbidden from inappropriately accessing, using, or disclosing others' trade secrets. Therefore, Huawei has established an incentive and accountability system. Huawei employees who do not abide by applicable laws and regulations shall be held legally liable.
