Leveraging on technology, applications and skills to empower our community in a sustainable way is the main ethos of the Huawei Singapore’s Tech4City initiative. With that in mind, we worked with like-minded community partners to Care, enhance digital Inclusion, and nurture Talents and Youths in development initiatives.
15 selected Singapore youths took a week-long AI immersion learning journey to develop AI innovations for the community.

Working with our community partner at East Coast, Huawei provided a group of students with the opportunity to explore Huawei's AI capabilities in Shenzhen and equipped them with necessary AI development skills to innovate for the community.

Together with our Huawei Cloud Partner CreativeFitting, we reimagined the artwork by the heartists and made it come to live. - We also supported various community events such as West Coast Earth Hour 2024, worked with SGbono to deliver our Huawei ICT Academy at NeuGen Charity event, National Library Board’s Be S.U.R.E. Together series
This year’s Shaping Hearts art exhibition displayed the animated artworks enhanced with Huawei Cloud technology.The Huawei team and local artist Vincent Seet along with his wife, with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam and the First Lady Jane Yumiko Ittogi, as well as Desmond Choo, mayor of North East District.
This year, we have also strengthened industry partnerships with National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), contributing to the 2024 Learning Journey of union leaders across sectors. We will continue to share our experience in digitalization, intelligence and decarbonization to empower workers with relevant knowledge and skills, creating a harmonious and healthy industry ecosystem in Singapore where no worker is left behind.
