  • Huawei Recognised for Championing Singapore’s National Digital for Life Movement
    This accolade is part of the national DfL movement, which mobilises partners from the private, people and public sectors to help Singaporeans embrace digital as a lifelong pursuit and enrich their lives through digital technology. It recognises Huawei’s significant and diverse contributions to the DfL movement through the company’s Singapore-oriented Tech4City initiatives, from annual competitions for young adults and continuous community engagements on digital literacy promotion for neighborhoods.

The Huawei Cloud Security Companion Guide for Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) Cyber Trust mark certification, being released at GovWare 2024, part of Singapore International Cyber Week.

Committed to nurturing ICT talents for the industry, Huawei aims to build a robust tech talent ecosystem for all. Through our flagship Huawei Tech4City Competition, and global Huawei ICT Competition, we hope to encourage youths to come up with ideas and make Singapore a more inclusive and sustainable city for our future generations.

Tech4City 2024’s Top Five Finalist Teams. Since its inception in 2022, Tech4City has brought together over 1,000 participants and inspired more than 250 ideas for Singapore.

Leveraging on technology, applications and skills to empower our community in a sustainable way is the main ethos of the Huawei Singapore’s Tech4City initiative. With that in mind, we worked with like-minded community partners to Care, enhance digital Inclusion, and nurture Talents and Youths in development initiatives.

15 selected Singapore youths took a week-long AI immersion learning journey to develop AI innovations for the community.

This year’s Shaping Hearts art exhibition displayed the animated artworks enhanced with Huawei Cloud technology.The Huawei team and local artist Vincent Seet along with his wife, with the President of Singapore, Tharman Shanmugaratnam and the First Lady Jane Yumiko Ittogi, as well as Desmond Choo, mayor of North East District.


This year, we have also strengthened industry partnerships with National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), contributing to the 2024 Learning Journey of union leaders across sectors. We will continue to share our experience in digitalization, intelligence and decarbonization to empower workers with relevant knowledge and skills, creating a harmonious and healthy industry ecosystem in Singapore where no worker is left behind.
