Ecovadis awards Huawei Switzerland Platinum for sustainability and compliance

Huawei Switzerland has been awarded the Platinum medal by EcoVadis, the world’s most trusted provider of sustainability and compliance assessments. 2026 is Huawei Switzerland’s third year of assessment with EcoVadis, and the technology supplier based in Bern, Zurich and Lausanne received 89 (+3 vs. 2025!) out of a possible 100 points. This result puts Huawei Switzerland in the top one percent of companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide (99+ percentile).

For the award, Huawei Switzerland’s performance in key areas of sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR) was analyzed and rated. EcoVadis uses a defined set of questions comprising 21 sustainability criteria and seven management indicators to examine how responsibly Huawei acts in the areas of environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The assessment is based on leading standards such as GRI, UNGC and ISO 26000 and is monitored by an international scientific committee. Huawei Switzerland compared itself with over 125,000 participating companies worldwide and proved that it meets verified sustainability and compliance standards in a top benchmark group.
