Security Notice - Statement on "Scared Poopless – LTE and *your* laptop " at the Defcon USA Conference

Huawei noticed that security researchers Mickey Shkatov and Jesse Michael gave a presentation titled "Scared Poopless – LTE and *your* laptop " at the Defcon USA 2015 Conference on August 8 2015 and mentioned Huawei LTE modem in the presentation.
The researchers have reported this vulnerability to Huawei PSIRT( PSIRT@huawei.com) before the Defcon conference. Huawei immediately launched an investigation and confirmed that the ME906 product was affected by this vulnerability.
Fix for ME906 is available. Huawei has released a security advisory (SA) and fixed versions. Customers can ask for support from local Huawei technical support services if necessary. The SA links is:
