Worldwide highest P3 score measured for Huawei & T-Mobile Netherlands’ network

[The Hague, Netherlands, 17 March 2016] Thanks to Huawei’s technology and services, T-Mobile Netherlands’ mobile network ranks number one in the worldwide independent P3 test which P3 Communications, a network testing and consultancy firm, published today in the Dutch mobile benchmarking report. From January to February 2016, P3 Communications held an extensive drive test to measure the best 2G/3G/4G mobile services in the Netherlands. Outcome of the test shows that T-Mobile Netherlands ranks number one, aided by its strong voice and data service, making it the best performing network in the Netherlands.

P3 Communications conducted a comprehensive measurement encompassing a broad service spectrum of the currently operating mobile networks such as download and upload speed, call success and voice quality, with the purpose of assessing mobile network quality from the customer’s experience viewpoint. According to P3 Communications, the testing on the mobile operators’ networks in big cities, towns and connecting highways was conducted by using high-tech measurement equipment and the process was designed to push the networks to the limit.

With 966 out of a maximum of 1000 points, T-Mobile’s network scores best mobile network in the Netherlands. Moreover, the 966 points is a worldwide all-time high score measured by P3 Communications, thus ranking T-Mobile’s network as one of the best performing network in the world.

Since 2013, T-Mobile Netherlands has invested in their network by upgrading 5000 antenna sites in the Netherlands with Huawei’s Single Radio Access Network (SRAN) technology. Last December, the SRAN project was completed and T-Mobile’s network is now equipped with the latest wireless technology allowing their customers to have fast and stable mobile internet.

As of now, Huawei is supporting T-Mobile Netherlands with services optimizing radio coverage, mobile core and maintenance services.

Our network is therefore already suitable for customers who want to get the most out of their smartphone or mobile Internet."
