Huawei and Expway will Work Together to Promote the Standardization of User Video Quality

[China, Shenzhen, Feb. 1, 2016] Huawei today announced a partnership with the French Expway company, the two sides will set up a joint working group to jointly promote the standardization process in the field of video experience, focus on improving the quality of mobile video, and open up a new era for the video industry.

According to the cooperation agreement, Huawei and Expway will focus on and promote the development of the video experience standard system U-vMOS. The U-vMOS system is a standard for video experience objectives and evaluation. The standard is based on total user experience, which includes a comprehensive quantitative assessment of video quality, interactive experience and viewing experience. The video service quality and user experience can be reflected visually, and can also support rapid location of network problems and continuous optimization of content sources.

Huawei and Expway will cooperate in joint testing the U-vMOS standards, market the industry alliance standardization work to promote the development of U-vMOS industry and standardization process, and promote the overall upgrading of industry video quality, to better service mobile users.
