Challenges of the charging infrastructure: connectivity and efficiency
With the rapid growth of electromobility, Zaptec was faced with new challenges when installing charging stations in large charging parks. Centralised cloud management with iMaster
With the iMaster solution from Huawei, Zaptec was able to manage all access points centrally via a European cloud - fully compliant with the requirements of the GDPR. The simple location tracking and working with templates, which provide a ready-made configuration for each charging park, led to enormous time savings during setup. This standardisation not only brought scaling effects, but also made support easier, as the basic configurations were now the same everywhere.

Another decisive advantage of the Huawei access points was their exceptional robustness. Compared to the previous models, there was a significant reduction in hardware failures. This considerably reduced the effort and expense for support and maintenance. Despite the higher initial investment, Huawei APs proved to be the most economical choice over the entire lifecycle.
