[KUALA LUMPUR, 01 NOVEMBER 2022]: Huawei Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd (Huawei Malaysia) cemented a partnership with TOGL Technology Sdn Bhd (TOGL) to jointly develop cloud based digital solutions in Malaysia. The collaboration involves state-of-the-art services and experiences embedded with cloud and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies powered by Huawei.
The partnership, formalised through a Memorandum of Collaboration (MoC), will see Huawei and TOGL develop future-oriented cloud based digital solutions to boost Malaysia's digital transformation.
Taking on the role of technology partner and solutions integrator for project planning and implementation of cloud based digital solutions, Huawei Malaysia will also leverage and integrate its technologies with TOGL’s digital solutions to scale new heights and explore opportunities using Cloud and AI technologies.
The MoC ceremony was attended by Chief Marketing Officer of TOGL Technology, Mr Roy Lim Jun Hao; Chief Technology Officer of TOGL Technology, Mr Pon Hoong Foong; Huawei Malaysia’s Vice President of Cloud & AI Business, Mr Lim Chee Siong and Huawei Director of Malaysia Cloud Business Development, Mr Roy Hu.

“Huawei Technologies was the only brand that we were keen to establish such a partnership with, as we only trusted their expertise in the industry on cloud based digital solutions, and now that it is official, we can’t wait to get down to work,” said Mr Roy Lim.
TOGL Technology, is set to move into the world of Web 3.0 as it innovates and sees the Cloud as essential in efforts moving forward with Huawei Cloud’s technology expected to accelerate this momentum further. With TOGL Technology’s E-Rewards mobile application Yippi constantly presenting more interactive methods in enabling its users to collect and redeem points, the flagship product is set to be the biggest benefactor with the innovations now enabled through this partnership.
On Huawei’s front, Mr Lim said the MoC forms an essential part of Huawei’s initiatives to increase the availability and capability of cloud based digital solutions in Malaysia.
“Through the company’s commitment to ‘everything-as-a-service’, Huawei is confident of contributing its world-class and cutting-edge technology to fulfil the motivations of the collaboration and contribute towards the nation's demands to develop future-oriented digital solutions. Huawei Cloud will complement TOGL’s technology capabilities to unleash its potential using cloud based digital solutions.”
He added that with Cloud perceived as a key enabler of scalability, resilience, business continuity and cost efficiency, organisations have been increasingly turning to the Cloud as the basis of their digitalisation efforts.
“Huawei’s Cloud service is an open, easy-to-use, flexible, and efficient technology that focuses on a platform built using cloud technology to help ecosystem partners quickly and efficiently build solutions and applications.”
