We have the honor to inform you that the Huawei OSN 6800/3800 V100R001 is generally available from May 28, 2007.
The Huawei OptiX OSN6800/3800 is an OTN/ASON-based intelligent multi-service WDM platform that enables network operators' traditional voice-oriented transport networks to migrate to next generation data-oriented ones. It is designed for network operators who require a flexible, cost-effective system that will multiplex, transport and switch high-speed data, storage, video, and voice. It provides an integrated, cost effective and manageable platform supporting multiple services, network topologies, and transparency protocols in metro and regional networks.
