First Huawei Developers Congress to be Held in Shenzhen this October
[Shenzhen, China, Sept.23, 2015] The inaugural Huawei Developers Congress (HDC) will be held in the Shenzhen Universiade Sports Centre (Longgang Stadium) on October 19-20, 2015. More than 2,000 members of the world’s elite developer community will gather together to explore how the open capabilities of Huawei’s full ICT product line can be leveraged to build a win-win ecosystem and create infinite business opportunities.
In this age of rapid hi-tech transformation, ICT technologies like cloud computing, big data, and the Internet of Things (IoT) have an enormous impact on our lives. Integrating ICT with other business functions (also known as the “+ICT” trend) is the driving force behind innovation across all industries, prompting inventive new approaches to business that have fundamentally changed the way we do things. During his keynote speech at the 5th Huawei Cloud Congress (HCC) held on September 18, 2015, Huawei’s Rotating CEO, Eric Xu, described the company’s strategy of focusing on “IT infrastructure, software platforms, and enterprise cloud services when creating a cloud ecosystem.” At this year’s developers congress, Huawei will showcase how its open cloud computing platform will effectively serve developers, and help bring the industry a step closer to an open and dynamic cloud ecosystem.
