Outcome of Top 10 Global Finalists
• Before Dec 13, a list of additional questions formulated by the committee of judges will be sent out for detailed information.
• On Dec 18, top 10 global finalists will be receiving official Email.
Mobile Journey Dec 21
• 10 hours of online coaching sessions covering 5 topics will be offered to the Top 10.
• 10 hours of Q&A sessions will be led by mentors.
• Details will be confirmed with Top 10 via Email.
Voting of People’s Choice Award
• Dec 18- Dec 29, 2023, supplementary materials will be provided for publicizing purpose.
• Jan 5-Jan 11, 2024, 10 projects will be posted on Huawei social media platform for votes.
Global Final
The Top 10 global finalists will present their projects live, which will be broadcast on Huawei Seeds for the Future website and YouTube channel.

Does the team make a compelling case for the importance of the problem they are tackling, have a clear understanding of the actual problem that is backed by research, and demonstrate a deep understanding of key stakeholders affected by the problem and their needs?
Does the team have a solution with a unique value proposition that brings about meaningful social or environmental change if successful? Is technology effectively and appropriately applied in this solution? Has the team identified their assumptions and considered the feasibility and challenges of the project? Has the team achieved any results or made any progress since the start of the project?
Did the team challenge themselves to push creative boundaries beyond existing market solutions? Did the team tie back insights or research gathered into their solution? Is the solution innovative in terms of its application of technology?
Is the message clearly conveyed and articulated? Do the pitch materials and/or visuals (including the sketch) provide clear support to the pitch? Is there evidence of teamwork in terms of putting together this idea?
Does the team possess or have the ability to obtain relevant skills, contacts, industry knowledge, and experience to execute this project? Progress/Preparation for Launch: Does the team show motivation and commitment through making progress or preparations for launching? Execution plan: Does the team have a clear plan and measurable milestones for their next steps?
* Mentors’ Evaluation will account for 20% of the final score in Round 3 Global Competition. Please be fully engaged during the online coaching sessions and attend the individualized guidance sessions with mentors.

After taking home the Silver Award and People’s Choice Award against nearly 100 projects in 2022, the team took their next steps towards success by traveling to China for the Startup Sprint event, where they presented a robust business plan for their agricultural drone monitoring project, “FarmAI”, to the Tech4Good Investment Committee. They were subsequently awarded the startup capital fund of US$100,000, to bring their innovative idea to life!
