About Huawei ICT Competition
About Huawei ICT Competition

As an international competition and exchange platform, the Huawei ICT Competition is intended for students in Huawei ICT Academies and those in higher education institutions that are willing to join the Huawei ICT Academy program worldwide.Through this competition, Huawei aims to provide students with a platform to compete healthily and exchange ideas, thus enhancing their ICT knowledge and practical skills as well as increasing their ability to innovate by using new technologies and platforms. Since the first edition in 2015, the Huawei ICT Competition's influence has only kept growing. The Huawei ICT Competition 2023–2024 has attracted more than 170,000 students from over 2,000 colleges and universities across over 80 countries and regions.

Practice Competition

The Practice Competition includes the Network, Cloud, Computing, and Ascend AI Tracks, which examine students' theoretical knowledge and hands-on ICT skills as well as their teamwork. Contestants will be ranked according to their scores for theoretical and lab exams. At the moment, the Ascend AI track is available only in China.

Students will use ICTs (such as AI, IoT, big data, and cloud) to resolve real-life problems, propose solutions that have social and business value, and design models with comprehensive functions.
