Huawei noticed that, on May 21, 2018, Intel released Variant 4 (CVE-2018-3639) and Variant 3a (CVE-2018-3640) side-channel vulnerabilities which are derivatives of
"Spectre" and "Meltdown" previously disclosed by Intel in January 2018. Local attackers can exploit these vulnerabilities to leak information on affected systems. Huawei immediately launched analysis and investigation and communicated with related CPU and operating system suppliers.

Huawei has delivered Security Advisory (SA) for these vulnerabilities. The link of the SA is: http://www.huawei.com/en/psirt/security-advisories/huawei-sa-20180615-01-cpu-en. Customers can get necessary support for product security vulnerabilities through Huawei local technical service.
