There is a sensitive information leak vulnerability in the CMA implementation of some Huawei smart phones. An attacker can trick a user to install a malicious application to exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation may cause sensitive information leak. (Vulnerability ID: HWPSIRT-2017-09007)

This vulnerability has been assigned a Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVE) ID: CVE-2017-8165.

Vulnerability details:

There is a sensitive information leak vulnerability in the CMA implementation of some Huawei smart phones. An attacker can trick a user to install a malicious application to exploit this vulnerability. Successful exploitation may cause sensitive information leak.

The product that supports automatic update will receive a system update prompt. You can install the update to fix the vulnerability.
