Oct 26, 2015

[Shenzhen, China, October 26, 2015] Huawei announced that it has become the first Chinese ICT company to join the Technology Services Industry Association (TSIA), the leading association for today’s technology services organizations. Being a member of TSIA will help Huawei accelerate its service strategies for customers and partners globally, while providing Huawei with a platform for performance benchmarking and peer networking in enterprise services.

TSIA is the world's leading organization dedicated to advancing the business of technology services. TSIA corporate members represent the world’s top technology companies as well as scores of innovative small and mid-size businesses in four major markets: enterprise IT and telecom, consumer technology, healthcare and healthcare IT, and industrial equipment and technology.

Commentating on the new membership, Mr. Han Xiao, President of Huawei Enterprise Services said, “There’s no doubt that being part of TSIA will help Huawei accelerate the implementation of our enterprise services, which will ultimately assist us in delivering the best services in the industry.”

Mr. Thomas Lah, Executive Director of TSIA, also shared his view on Huawei’s membership. “We are very pleased to have Huawei join TSIA’s global community of leading technology service organizations and practitioners in enterprise services area. We look forward to further collaborating with Huawei on enhancing its service business strategies and capabilities to generate further customer value,” he said.

With the ICT Infrastructure industry being more complex and competitive, services are gaining increasing importance. The ability to provide full lifecycle services is a key competitive advantage for vendors, which helps them achieve long-term customer loyalty and sustainable growth. Furthermore, services that add significant value to products and solutions enable vendors to accelerate the deployment and optimization of customers’ business outcomes. Huawei fully recognizes the importance of services and continuously strives to enhance its service capabilities. The collaboration with TSIA marks an important milestone towards the journey of becoming the most reliable ICT services provider in the enterprise market.
