Ultra-Broadband Forum 2026
October 12-13, 2026
Vienna, Austria

INVITATION

We cordially invite you to the 12th Ultra-Broadband Forum (UBBF 2026), scheduled to take place from October 12 to 13, 2026 in Vienna, Austria.

Since its inception in London in 2014, UBBF has driven major advancements across the ultra-broadband industry. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of global industry organizations and partners, UBBF has evolved into the premier annual gathering in the ultra-broadband domain. It serves as a vital catalyst for driving industry dialogues, fostering deep collaboration across the industry chain, and cultivating a sustainable industry ecosystem.

Currently, GW-scale AI training data centers are expanding rapidly worldwide, while the deployment of AI inference data centers is also accelerating. As of August 2026, there were 6,000 AI inference data centers worldwide, a number expected to reach 25,000 by 2030. AI applications are entering a phase of widespread commercial deployment. It is imperative for all industry stakeholders to jointly explore the network requirements arising from AI services, reinforce network infrastructure, and facilitate both the large-scale rollout of AI applications and the efficient deployment of computing networks. Global carriers are actively embracing AI, transitioning from traditional connectivity-centric services toward a dual-engine strategy of "connectivity + computing." To ensure efficient computing utilization and deterministic AI experiences, carriers must capitalize on their network strengths, making the construction of ultra‑broadband networks for the AI era more critical than ever.

The demands for computing interconnection and device-cloud synergy in AI applications are compelling carriers to build Agentic UBB networks featuring ultra-broadband, ultra-low latency, ultra-high reliability, and ultra-high security. Empowered by Level 4 Autonomous Networks, Agentic UBB networks deliver intelligent closed-loop operations and maintenance, automated service provisioning, and proactive self-healing, greatly accelerating the shift toward fully autonomous and intelligent networking.

Gathering elites from global carriers, industry partners, regulators, standards organizations, and alliances, this year's forum features the theme "Agentic UBB, Beyond Connectivity." Together, we will explore innovative business models, enrich the industry ecosystem, and capture new growth dividends in the AI era.

Thank you for your continued dedication to the ultra-broadband industry. We look forward to welcoming you to Vienna to map out the industry's shared future.
