The convergence of HPC, AI, and big data analytics drives HPC to evolve towards HPDA. However, storage performance cannot keep up with the development of computing power. Therefore, HPC demands faster storage with larger capacity. The trend is obvious especially in energy exploration and scientific research fields. We will introduce how Huawei handles these growing needs with outstanding features such as the high-density design, hybrid workload-oriented architecture, and multi-protocol interworking of OceanStor Pacific.
