AUCKLAND, New Zealand, [28 NOV 2022] - Huawei New Zealand announce the launch of the new generation of TWS earphones, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE. HUAWEI FreeBuds SE adopts a light in-ear design that gives a more comfortable wearing experience and comes with a round and compact charging case, giving it a silky touch.

In terms of performance, it is equipped with a 10mm large dynamic driver and high-sensitivity composite diaphragm, delivering outstanding audio quality. With environmental noise cancellation (ENC), consumers can make clearer voice calls. In addition, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE comes with the new generation of Bluetooth 5.2 which has a higher connection stability and a long-lasting battery life whether it is listening to music or making calls.

A trendy light in-ear design for aesthetics and comfortability

The HUAWEI FreeBuds SE is built based on the strengths that adopt a light in-ear design that considers comfort and stability, supporting users to wear it for long hours. Whether it is listening to music, watching movies, or having online classes, it can always bring users a more free and comfortable wearing experience.

HUAWEI FreeBuds SE comes in two separate colorways, blue and white. Furthermore, thanks to the compact charging case and easy and comfortable grip, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE’s charging case offers a soft and silky touch, giving users an experience that has never felt like before.

Balanced good audio quality and environmental noise cancellation for better phone calls

The diameter of the dynamic driver is one of the key factors in determining the audio quality of earphones. HUAWEI FreeBuds SE adopts custom acoustic components, and a 10mm large dynamic driver is placed in its compact body. The bass is surging and powerful, making the sound more appealing to users. Meanwhile, it is also equipped with a high-sensitivity composite diaphragm that adopts a PEEK+PU+PET titanium dome that comes with the high compliance of PU and the toughness of PEEK, realistically reproducing details in the music.

Thanks to the audio tuning process, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE delivers music with great audio quality to provide consumers with an unprecedented listening experience. The bass is powerful, especially for the drumbeats, which are crisp and impactful. Meanwhile, the treble is soft and flexible, highlighting the melodious instruments. The midrange is also vivid, the vocals are full and transparent.

With environmental noise cancellation (ENC), the earphones will process the difference between the voice collected by the two microphones. The beamforming technology will then enhance the voice of the user, ensuring the voice is clear over the various disturbances from the environmental noise and letting the other party hear the caller more clearly, even in a noisy environment.

When enjoying music with wireless earphones, battery life can be an issue. HUAWEI FreeBuds SE however come with a large battery within its compact design. With a fully charged charging case, it can provide up to 24 hours* of music playback and a pair of fully charged earphones could provide 6 hours* of continuous music playback. For voice calls, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE can provide up to 16 hours* of call with a fully charged charging box and the earphones can be used for 4 hours* when fully charged.

To allow users to experience the best listening experience, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE comes with the new generation of Bluetooth 5.2 which has lower power consumption, higher connection stability, faster transmission speed, and effectively reduces disconnection and lagging compared with prior FreeBud models. Whether it is, HarmonyOS, Android or iOS, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE can be connected smoothly for smart upgrades.

HUAWEI FreeBuds SE also comes with many convenient and smart features. When HUAWEI FreeBuds SE’s charging case is opened for the first time, it will automatically enter the Bluetooth pairing mode, and nearby Bluetooth devices such as smartphones, PCs, and tablets can be connected instantly. When users take off the earphones, it will automatically detect and pause music playback. Additionally, HUAWEI FreeBuds SE has a built-in G-Sensor which users can simply double-tap to make calls, play music, pause, and skip songs, so that users don't need to take out their smartphones to make simple changes.
