Promotion of Access to Information, Huawei South Africa

In accordance with the provisions of the of Access to Information Act, No. 2 of 2000 (“PAIA”), each private body in South Africa has to publish a PAIA Manual containing the prescribed minimum information as set out in section 51 of the Act. Although the deadline for the publishing of same has been postponed various times, Huawei has made a principle decision to publish its manual to ensure compliance and as part of its initiative to adhere to good corporate governance.
