My eyes are dark but

my life’s colorful.

My name is Jamaliah
The doctors diagnosed me with visual impairment some 30 years ago. As my eyes got darker and darker, I could only imagine the faces of my two children. They and my three grandchildren are the source of my joy.
It’s dark now, but my future’s bright

Malaysia is a scenic country and I want to capture its beauty. So I decided to take 10 photography classes, part of the “AI as the Eyes” campaign. Using the smartphone camera, aided by the AI voice control, I learned about light and shadow. The classes were really fun.
Hope from a picture
Three months and hundreds of photographs later, I received a special recognition prize for my entry in a major photography contest. I still remember the caption beneath my winning photo: “I like to take photos of sunrises. Every new day brings me new hope.”
Some of the world’s challenges can be unyielding, but it’s the desire to succeed that creates amazing answers for technological solutions. Overcoming the barriers in life doesn’t just depend on people, but on their hearts.
